Pro Markdown Viewer Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Short version: the app collects nothing. No analytics. No telemetry. No accounts. No third-party services. The app makes no network requests during normal use.

What data the app collects

None.

What data the app sends to us

None. The app is fully offline. It does not send crash reports, usage statistics, or any other data to the developer or any third party.

What data the app sends to third parties

None. The app does not contain analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels.

What data the app stores locally

The app stores its own preferences (for example, validation severity settings and the list of recently opened files) using macOS's standard preferences and recent-files mechanisms. If you choose to grant the app access to a folder, such as the optional ~/.claude folder connection used by the agent graph, macOS records that permission as a security-scoped bookmark on your Mac. All of this data stays on your Mac and never leaves it.

Future telemetry

If a future version of the app adds opt-in usage telemetry, it will be off by default, clearly labeled in Settings, and this policy will be updated before that version ships.
